The Certificate in Training and Development is ideal for both those who are currently working in the field who would benefit from formal education and those who plan to enter the field. The program consists of three required courses and two electives.

Admission:

Applicants to the graduate certificate programs in the Heller College of Business must complete and submit the following:

• Graduate university application
• Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, regardless of whether a degree was received
• Application fee
• Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0 may be considered on a case by case review.

The Training and Development (MATD) Graduate Certificate consists of five (5) required courses leading to 15 credit hours needed for certificate completion. All of the required courses must be taken at Roosevelt University. Courses are delivered fully online in two eight-week sessions per semester and one eight-week session in the summer.  A minimum 3.0 GPA is required to remain in good standing and for the courses to apply toward MATD degree credit.

Required Courses (15 semester hours): A minimum grade of B- is required.  A minimum 3.0 gpa is required.
