The Bachelor of Musical Arts with Interdisciplinary Music Industry emphasis offers three degree paths for students interested in combining studies in music with coursework in the liberal arts and sciences and a specialized track focused on the music industry.

The program offers curricular flexibility in the choice of General Studies electives as well as the specific music industry emphasis. Students complete an internship in a professional setting during the senior year. The self-designed capstone project combines the student’s interests, studies, and experiences.

Grade Requirements:

The minimum passing grade in Applied Music 221 is C-.

The minimum passing grade in MAS 310 INTERDISCIPLINARY MUSIC CAPSTONE is B-. 

GPA Requirements:

A student must earn at least a 3.0 GPA in major subject area coursework.

Residency Requirements:

The final 30 credit hours toward a student's degree must be completed at Roosevelt University, or a minimum of 60 hours must be taken in residence at Roosevelt University.
